With the exception of last week when we took a brief trip to Omaha, we’ve been listening to the 94.1 frequency from Seattle for the last month or more, mostly as country KMPS. When Entercom bought the former CBS Radio stations, they shocked the entire industry by blowing up that station, flipping it to Soft AC 94.1 The Sound KSWD. That’s the station you’ll be hearing today, recorded on October 31, 2018. I had planned to get an updated and longer recording of this station when I was in the market in June, but my recorder was full. I’m at a conference up there this week, but the format has changed again, so you’ll be hearing The Sound’s replacement, Emma 94.1, next week.
