Update on redesign and apologies
First off, apologies for the site being down for two weeks. WordPress notified me that my PHP version was out of date a couple of weeks ago, so I updated it. When I did so, I did not realize that a necessary extension needed to be enabled, and I went out of town two days after that update. As I did not get word of anything being wrong, I assumed everything was fine until I went to post the aircheck I was going to yesterday. Fortunately, technical support at my host is top notch, and fixed it for me within hours of me opening a ticket. The post scheduled to go up last week must have published right away, so nobody will know there was a problem there.
As for the site’s redesign, I downloaded a local version of WordPress a couple of weeks ago, but have been busy with other things, so haven’t gotten to play around with it. Investigating the problems I was having downloading that itself was held up several weeks because I moved in June and didn’t feel like I had the time to do such things until a couple of weeks ago. That redesign is still coming, but my other priorities are coming first.
