It feels like it’s been forever since we’ve been in Jacksonville, but that’s because we’ve been focusing on one station for several weeks at a time. If you as a reader are getting tired of that, it’ll be at least a month before that happens again, and depending on how you count it, it could be much longer. It’s a one off today, as we hear WEJZ from April 15, 2016. This is one of those stations you would think I would be bored by, but it’s actually an example of when boring works. Like many stations that do this though, changes at the station make it not work as well as it does in this clip. While I don’t have an updated recording, I have heard the station since.
