Yes, that’s the station we’ve been listening to for the last several weeks, KBFF. This is the station that gained significant attention in June 2023 when it became the first station to use an AI DJ. Unfortunately, I didn’t get an aircheck of those initial days, but I did get one in February 2024, which is what we’re hearing this week. I did manage to hear a few hours of AI Ashley’s first week, and I had a hard time telling what was real Ashley vs. AI Ashley, but it seemed to me that both were being mixed together. I flipped the station on a few months later and it appeared they had dropped AI Ashley, though I only listened for a few minutes. In this clip, we hear how the station is and isn’t using AI on-air in the course of an hour. If that doesn’t give you a good enough idea, we have a nearly three hour scope of the station coming up next week.
