Last week, I told you we would be listening to an aircheck of KQMV that hadn’t been recorded yet to finish up our series on that station. This is that aircheck, recorded at about 8:30 P.M. yesterday and which I just got done scoping. I feel like that station has gone down in quality since we heard it last in 2016. The station as you’ve been hearing has always sounded rather automated, but I feel like something more is missing with this clip. Additionally, with the music not being as good, I’m wondering if it even deserves the #2 spot on my radio’s presets anymore. Before you say that I don’t live in the market anymore, I have a radio with 100 memories, so I just added the Portland stations that I had taken out when I left the market in 2015 to the existing Seattle presets. I still haven’t reprogrammed the radio with only 10 memories though.
