I’m not sure how I forgot that I had airchecks of this short-lived rock station, but here’s the first. It’s probably because neither of them came out how I intended. The quality of this one is less than ideal because it was recorded on an old cassette I had lying around, and they are both jockless. When I wrote about the previous Click format on 98.9 in Seattle last week, I remembered that I do in fact have clips of the successor rock format. We knew something was up when 98.9 began stunting in mid-March, and the station then went rock, something I had been wanting for a while. I figured Click was toast when iHeart made its four station shuffle earlier in 2016, and that happened that March. Next week, we’ll take a better listen to the rock format, then listen to the format that replaced that.
