As I said last week, WBEB was often the top-rated station in Philadelphia for much of the 2000s and early 2010s. Even today, it’s still consistently top 5. Until September 2018, the station was independently owned, and did not stream until mid-2017. Because of those two factors, I wanted every aircheck of the station I could get my hands on. I traded with someone who lives in the area for this one in I think it was 2020, but then decided I only wanted to attempt to obtain unscoped recordings of airchecks I had previously downloaded. That’s how last week’s aircheck appeared. Moving forward with WBEB though, the airchecks that exist are my own, having been recorded from Global Tuners.
